Kwon, Gi-bong, A Storyteller bridging history, culture, and global perspectives 

 

Kwon Ki-bong is an author and historical traveler who points out the close but obscure events and people of the modern era and their context. Books written include "A Journey to Peace in Korea," "Walking through Seoul, Meet the Disappearing History," "Again. Walk through Seoul," and "Kwon Ki-bong's Urban Walk."
 
Since he began his career as a writer in 2001, he worked as a reporter for SBS's press division from 2005 to 2008, winning the 2002 Citizen Reporters of the Year award, the SBS Scoop Award in 2006, and the 2008 Samsung Press Award. He is currently a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Future Heritage Preservation Committee.
 
As of 2022, he has appeared regularly on KBS, EBS, Korean traditional music broadcasting, and transportation broadcasting under the concept of historical travel. He has been on JTBC's morning news "Morning &" every week until 2020, followed by the transportation broadcast "History Travel-Rediscovering Seoul" from 2008 to 2009, EBS education broadcast "Cooking Vision" from 2009 to 2013, and 434 times on YTN Radio from 2011 to 2013 "Thinking while Walking by Kwon Ki-bong," and also appears on EBS "World Theme Travel," "Korea Travel," and "World Travel Book Atlas."
 
Since 2008, he has been giving lectures and exploration of history on history, leadership, and self-directed learning that should be considered at least once to government agencies, local governments, and companies at all levels.
