CEO of Platum, a Media Outlet Specializing in Greater China Startups

Platum is a specialized startup media and tech/IT online newspaper focused on the Greater China region, founded in November 2012. It was co-founded by CEO Sang-rae Jo and Director Yo-han Son (current Editor-in-Chief). Since its inception, Platum has conducted interviews with over 500 startup founders and produces professional articles and columns covering ICT technology, investment, and marketing.

In addition, as part of an initiative to fully promote the Korean startup ecosystem, Platum has been producing and distributing research reports since 2014, including weekly, monthly, and annual Korean Startup Investment Trend Reports and Greater China ICT Trend Reports.

His major publications include Shenzhen: The City Living in the Future and the co-authored work China Insight 2018.
