Hong Kong Polytechnic University Professor Revolutionizing Education through E-learning Platform Development

In 2015, Jason Chan founded Totaltact Network, an online knowledge repository that utilizes AI, machine learning, and big data to collect and analyze social media and public perspectives to create a massive cross-domain knowledge platform.

Since 2009, he has served as the Head of IT at the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPEED) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In this role, he oversees the campus information technology department, e-learning platforms, and comprehensive IT services, while also establishing the university's IT policies.

He developed an e-learning platform designed to enhance student learning and implemented it in actual educational settings, receiving high satisfaction ratings from students. As a professor with a diverse academic background, he teaches undergraduate programs in strategy, management, leadership, e-government, and research methodology.

Jason currently serves as an advisory member for the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Bureau, Deputy Chief of the Roundtable Community, and Chairman of Mensa Hong Kong. He is also a Justice of the Peace (JP) for the Hong Kong SAR Government.
