Rodney Sampson: A Global Leader in Building Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Investment Ecosystems

Based on 20 years of corporate experience, Rodney Sampson has co-founded several startups that faced initial challenges, raising over $20 million from angel investors and venture capitalists. Through these ventures, he created hundreds of new jobs and transformed companies into entities generating tens of millions of dollars in revenue through strategic Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).

He co-founded and successfully sold Multicast Media Technologies (Streamingfaith.com) and Intellectua (formerly EFactor). He also established Intellectual Currency, a publishing and advisory firm whose clients include major Hollywood film studios, cable networks, technology companies, global corporations, publishers, and the U.S. government.

Since 2007, he has worked closely with high-growth startups and seed-stage venture funds as a selective advisor, investor, and Limited Partner (LP). His investment and advisory portfolio includes Cross Culture Ventures, TechSquare Capital, Digit, York Exponential, Plum.io, Patientory, Mentor Method, and Momentum Learning. 

In 2013, Sampson co-founded OHUB (Opportunity Hub) and released his book, Kingonomics, while hosting large-scale conferences in Atlanta, Georgia, and Washington, D.C. OHUB has rapidly expanded into a multi-campus co-working space, entrepreneurship center, and technology hub. It serves as an angel investment platform, hosting over 300 events annually, and provides accelerators, coding boot camps, and scholarships for underestimated entrepreneurs.

From 2015 to 2017, as a partner at the tech hub TechSquare Labs, he created the $100,000 Atlanta Startup Battle. Today, TechSquare Labs' portfolio companies have raised nearly $300 million in capital, hold a valuation of over $1.5 billion, generate more than $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), and employ over 1,000 people.

Currently, as the Executive Chairman and CEO of Opportunity Hub and the OHUB Foundation, Sampson is focused on the global expansion of OHUB. He is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the ultimate global future of technology, entrepreneurship, venture capital, and high-demand skills training through the OHUB platform.
