Leroy Chiao : Former NASA Astronaut, Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, and Engineering Consultant

A veteran of three Space Shuttle flights, he lived and worked aboard the International Space Station (ISS) from October 13, 2004, to April 24, 2005.

As a professional international speaker, he is the Co-founder and CEO of OneOrbit, a firm that provides keynotes and corporate training to businesses and educational institutions.

He holds appointments at Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine and serves as an advisor to the Houston Space and Science Education Association. Additionally, he is a researcher and co-author of the Advanced Diagnostic Ultrasound in Microgravity (ADUM) project. With extensive experience both as a NASA astronaut and previously as a research engineer, he currently serves on the NASA Advisory Council (NAC).
