Speaker Connecting Platform
The Legendary Marketer who positioned Apple not just as a corporation, but as a "Savior of the Soul."
Guy Kawasaki joined Apple in 1984, where he was responsible for marketing the Macintosh computer line. He popularized the term "Apple Evangelist" and pioneered the concepts of evangelism marketing, technology evangelism, and platform evangelism.
Moving completely away from traditional marketing—which focused primarily on technology, price competitiveness, and advertising—he focused on spreading Apple’s "absolute enchantment," cultivating a massive global following of "Apple enthusiasts." By successfully positioning Apple as qualitatively different from its competitors, he created a new marketing formula known as "Evangelism Marketing."
He is the co-founder of Alltop.com and Garage Technology Ventures. He studied psychology at Stanford University, earned his MBA from UCLA, and received an honorary doctorate from Babson College.
