Jason Schenker: Economist, Futurist, and Strategic Advisor

Jason Schenker is the President of Prestige Economics and the Chairman of The Futurist Institute. As a world-renowned economist, futurist, and best-selling author, he is a highly sought-after speaker known for his influential insights on economic trends, financial markets, geopolitical risks, AI, technological advancements, and the future of work. Through his research and consulting, he empowers clients to anticipate risks and seize strategic opportunities.

A trusted authority on macroeconomics and emerging technologies—including AI and quantum computing—Mr. Schenker has delivered over 1,200 keynote addresses. His diverse clientele includes public and private corporations, corporate boards, industry associations, institutional investors, and government agencies. He has been invited to speak at prestigious institutions such as the U.S. Federal Reserve, LME, SGX, AFP, AICPA, SXSW, CIA, and NATO.

His expertise spans a broad spectrum, including supply chain dynamics, commodities, sustainable energy, and demographics. Notably, he has been a leading voice on the impact of AI, automation, and robotics since 2016. At The Futurist Institute, he developed a comprehensive curriculum covering the "Future of" series, ranging from Work and Finance to Energy, Healthcare, and Quantum Computing.

Mr. Schenker is a member of the Texas Business Leadership Council, a non-partisan group of 100 CEOs that provides policy advice to elected officials. He is also a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and a Fellow of the Energy Institute.

Prior to founding Prestige Economics in 2009, he served as a Risk Specialist at McKinsey & Company and as Chief Energy and Commodity Economist at Wachovia (now Wells Fargo). He holds master’s degrees in Economics, Negotiation, and German, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Joint Special Operations University (USSOCOM), an Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and an advisor to the U.S. Department of State and the Foreign Service Institute.
